What fascinates me about the UFO conversation isn't the technology. It's the spiritual implications behind it.
Jesus said the last days would mirror the days of Noah. When I look at the growing obsession with UFOs, transhumanism, AI, and the merging of man with technology, I see questions that go far beyond science. The deeper issue is whether humanity is being drawn toward something that appears advanced and enlightened, but is actually spiritual in nature.

Paul said if the rulers of this age had understood what they were doing, they never would have crucified the Lord of glory. Death could not hold Jesus because He had never sinned, and Sheol had no legal claim on innocent blood. What looked like the enemy's greatest victory was actually the mechanism of his own defeat. They handed God exactly what He needed to redeem everyone who would call on His name.

I have several problems with the literal Babylon theory. One, a port that is maybe 10% finished, that is years behind in rail link, that will probably never be finished, and that is hundreds of kilometers from literal Babylon is not much of an argument for literal Babylon. Two, literal Babylon was completely destroyed before the time of Christ and has never been rebuilt. Three, literal Babylon was never historically a formally annexed part of the Roman empire, though the military held it for a couple years. Four, the grammar of Revelation 17:5 says, "upon her forehead a name was written, a mystery, Babylon the Great." The first part can be translated as an appositive, "a name, a mystery," or a genitive (as the ESV) "a name of mystery," or an adjective "a mystery name." All three are legitimate translations. All three are identical in meaning. If Babylon is a name of mystery or a mystery name, it can't be the literal, historical city of Babylon.

@JustusPeccator1 @Truth_matters20 100%! If He has truly saved us, then He has taken possession/ownership of us by sealing us into Himself.
LORD means OWNER 🙌
No one can [really and truly] say JESUS IS [their personal] LORD except s/HE BE [sealed] IN [by] the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12.3)

@Truth_matters20 Christ is our Lord BECAUSE He has saved and redeemed us.

What happens the moment you die?
Most Christians have a vague idea involving clouds and harps.
The Bible is far more specific and far more extraordinary than that.
It also completely dismantles several things most people believe about heaven, hell, and the resurrection.
Here's what Scripture actually says happens after death, step by step. 🧵

Did you know why the inhabitants during the Tower of Babel period spoke only one language? Because they were the breakaway civilization that survived the Geophysical Event. The next global language after the event will likely be either English or Chinese.
Fun fact: The Book of Jubilees mentions that the tower's height was 5,433 cubits and 2 palms, which is approximately 2.48 km (8,150 ft, or about 1.54 miles). It also says that it took 43 years to build.
I made a little simulation showing what the Tower of Babel would look like in today's modern cities.

@Elohim_Gadol Psalm 83 has been, currently is, and forever will be a relevant prayer for Israel 🙏

From my reading of the Bible, I’ve been able to understand events such as Brexit, the outcome of the Iran conflict, and even its onset in advance.
In my view, the prophecies concerning Elam and Psalm 83 have already been fulfilled.
Looking ahead, I believe the next major prophetic milestones will be found in Isaiah 28, Ezekiel 38–39, and 1 Thessalonians 4:16–18.
Scripture indicates that the world will grow increasingly troubled, so it is wise to remain watchful and prepared.
All glory to the Lord God of Israel 🙌

@proverbs1421 @Elohim_Gadol Scripture (Rev 20) interprets scripture (Ez 38-39), so yep.

Friends, we knew this day was coming. We expected these developments in light of the prophecy of Ezekiel 38 and 39, yet that does not make them any easier to witness.
Knowing something is foretold in Scripture does not lessen the weight of seeing it unfold before our eyes.
True believers in Christ Jesus love Israel with the very love of God.
They understand full well that the days ahead hold unspeakable horror for the nation of Israel

.
"When you are walking with the Lord, x, y, and z will happen and you'll be happier and holier and God will shower you with His blessings."
This kind of thinking is prevalent. It may be presented in a more subtle manner but the reality is that transactional Christianity has always been popular and still is.
The truth is that no one walks with God. God walks with us in the midst of our broken self focused lives. He forgives our sin and keeps us in lifelong repentance and faith. Happiness may be fleeting at best..but holiness in Christ Jesus is a gift of God to all those who believe and are Baptized into His death and resurrection. Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you. God will shower you with His blessings all throughout your life. At times this is hard to believe. In our faithlessness Jesus remains faithful..to us.
That's the gospel.
