Hot Take: #DayOfTheDead on @SYFY is actually a fairly decent throwback zombie show…it feels more ROTLD than anything directly related to Romero. The first few episode feel somewhat amateurish with a wildly juvenile tone, but the show has grown on me as it’s found it’s footing.

@danr1231 Right? I’ve been on a Ghibli roll thanks to HBO Max. I’m starting to dive into some of the lesser known stuff. WHEN MARNIE WAS THERE is pretty amazing (though I actually finally fell asleep with only like twenty minutes left...I’ll be finishing it tonight).

Note to self: when you’re just looking to throw something on to fall asleep to, don’t choose a studio Ghibli movie. You’ll just be mesmerized for the entire runtime and... not sleep.
