Why do Americans need their protagonist to be perfect and regret bad things they did? Odysseus never ONCE shows remorse about Troy, he is extremely arrogant with a giant ego and at the same time very funny, clever and resourceful. Nolan stripped everything away from him.

Looks like $34M+ FRI for #TheOdyssey, giving it $51M+ opening day. WOM as close to A+ as it can get, especially for the genre. Weekend could fly to $125M and then $400M+ final. That “+” could do heavy lifting there.

@elsuWASHERE Yes, there was clearly a conspiracy fueling THE WOMAN KING’s audience reactions box office, and Sony Pictures has been kind enough to do the same for Universal for THE ODYSSEY.

@ViewerAnon I was going through the recent reviews of The Odyssey, and I could see some of these profiles literally had The Woman King as their only other review or it was one of their most recent ones. Ironic and sus

@elsuWASHERE WOMAN KING had an A+ CinemaScore and a 3.54 multiplier at the box office so yes, I think lots of people probably liked that movie

Your "leftist" labeling doesnt work. I hold a few "more conservative" views than you do, and you likely want a majority of the same policies id want too for the people who are struggling right now.
