The depletion of the DRF and switch to immediate needs funding is the result of disaster after costly disaster. Congress MUST act on either a CR or emergency supplemental in order to continue recovery in #Maui and prepare for the after effects of #HurricaneIdalia.

As of this morning, FEMA's disaster relief fund has $3.4 billion remaining, and FEMA will now prioritize its funding on immediate needs, FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell says. "It is not a permanent solution," she says, calling on Congress to approve more funding.
