It has pro and cons. I grew up with DCL while they had 4 ships, now they have 8 with a 9th in construction.
The addition of ships expands the itineraries and gives more people the opportunity to experience the luxury of DCL.
I can see how it can be overwhelming to new guests.

Possible hot take: I think Disney is overdoing it with the cruise ships. Itโs giving the feeling of when marvel was overdoing it with the tv shows for a while to the point of consumer burnout. But a ship every year? Itโs a bit overwhelming for someone like me who just started.

@ThatDisneyBoi Sure the Wish class ships were flawed but the Treasure and Destiny are phenomenal ships imo. I feel like the Wish class ships get more hate than they deserve. The Wish just gave the Wish class a bad look in the beginning.
