@CBellDBA To be fair, "It worked on my machine" is presumably a fact. I did work on their machine. It just tends to be irrelevant when compared to how to works in production.

What would you call the phrase "Well it works on my computer"? I'm looking for something that would fit in this sentence: A common _____ we get from development teams is .....

@Whitek2010 Not in the traditional sense afaik. Would require 1 day every 2 weeks in office in Denver, Philly or DC. But that is also what negotiations are for.
