I'm not sold that the defense is definitively significantly better than what it was last year but things can change during the offseason

● QB Spotlight ● Drew Mestemaker North Texas ➡️ Oklahoma State • Mestemaker was sensational last season as a Freshman and he made many #CFB fans aware of just how elite he is. Coach Morris getting him to transfer over to Oklahoma State with him was one of the biggest portal wins of the season. Mestemaker is a player who can come in and lead a team that won 1 game in 2025 to 6+ wins and possibly have them competing near the top of the #Big12. Last season Mestemaker threw for 4,379 yards 34 Touchdowns 9 INTs while completing 68.9% of his passes. He also rushed for 5 Touchdowns.
