For the record, the president of the United States is now simultaneously claiming that he has won the war, is currently winning the war, needs help to win the war, and needs no help to win the war. All to destroy the nuclear program he claims to have already destroyed last year.

In 2017, a Cheshire Police detective sat down with two doctors for less than ten minutes. He walked out convinced he had a murder case against neonatal nurse Lucy Letby. This is how Operation Hummingbird began.

Every time your agent makes a mistake, take a second to build a solution so it never happens again. It takes a second to ask your agent to analyze what happened and propose a solution. This investment today will compound over time. Every day, your agents will become better.

Bombing Iran in the middle of negotiations. Genociding Palestinians in Gaza. Wiping out entire villages in South Lebanon. Kidnapping the President of Venezuela. Suffocating Cuba. And still they dare to lecture the world about “human rights” and “international law.”

Marc van der Chijs@marcvanderchijs

German chancellor Merz visited China for the first (!) time. As expected he couldn't believe what he saw there, he now understand the impossible situation Germany (and most of Europe) is in. Interesting short clip to watch.

This has been happening since forever. With AI, it happens more frequently & to more startups. With AI, any product will become obsolete in 3 months if they don't keep shipping fast enough. If a customer cancels their subscription to your SaaS because Claude / ChatGPT release some new features, it means you have work to do with your product, positioning, & marketing to remain competitive. It's tough, but it applies to everyone, even Claude or ChatGPT themselves.

Mike Vrabel gave one of the best answers I've heard from an NFL HC when asked about casting a wider net when it comes to diversity in coaching: "Well, the thing for me that's really critical is the diversity of ideas, of backgrounds, of race, allows us to make sure that every one of the 90 players that we have or 91 players that we’ll take to camp doesn't fall through any crack. That if they need something, if they need some extra teaching, if they need something off the field, whoever it is, that one of those players doesn't fall through the cracks. That's really important to me. We want the best coaches and want the best people, but the diversity of ideas, backgrounds, and race is critical because we're getting players from everywhere across the country, and even we'll add an international player as well."

The "better team" narrative about losing teams is embarrassing and irrelevant. When the Giants beat the Patriots in two Super Bowls, the team that played better that day and deserved to win became Super Bowl champions. That's how it works. The rest is crying over spilled milk.
