Last night I had the honor of inducting 210 students into the National Honor Society @langleyfcps. Now go out and do good in the world using your many talents and gifts!

We had a cornucopia of healthy and delicious delights to help our faculty and staff kick off the second quarter. Thanks to everyone who helped make our salad bar lunch a success @langleyfcps 🥗

Enjoyed helping a few thousand students and their families explore some great college opportunities at the @fcpsnews College Fair (but I'm secretly hoping they all want to go to @JMU 😉 💜💛)

Another amazing lunch hosted by the @LangleyHS_PTSA. I wish I could post all the pictures I took of the amazing food and decor. We feel so loved and appreciated by these parents. Thank you 💚💛

A little life update: I have cancer. My prognosis is good though! 🙏🏻

I can finally breathe again. Phew, that was intense.

When I left home this morning, it was summer, and by the time I got home it was definitely fall. Love when a weather front blows in. 🍁☁️🍂

Confession Time. What movie or TV series are you a bit embarrassed to admit you've never seen? Maybe you just miss out on a bunch of pop culture references because of it. Maybe it's just *such* a classic. I'll go first: I've never seen any of The Godfather movies. 🤷‍♂️

I normally choose fiction when left to my own devices. I became a lover of history because of historical fiction. Those books made history feel real to me.
