@kevinsekniqi Keep posting about substance L1 projects deployed and in the works. Aside from that, very little matters for the livelihood and success of #Avalanche. Games are good, DeFi is good, authenticity is good, commerce is good, government is good, ...

@toly @nic_carter If that's the case, crypto shouldn't be dragged into a case of bad TradFi investment decisions in the face of "surprisingly fast" interest rate hikes by the Fed.

I was getting messages all weekend from founders and VCs to pull money out of signature. So it's very likely that it would have collapsed this week as well. It's great that the fed stepped in pro-actively. It seems just as likely that crypto friendly banks were crypto friendly because they needed the deposits to cover for their poor duration risk management.

Dear God. Barney Frank openly admits that Signature was arbitrarily shuttered despite no insolvency because regulators wanted to kill off the last major pro-crypto bank. Colossal scandal cnbc.com/2023/03/13/sig…

@DavidSacks Action or inaction by the Fed will be the indicator of how deep they're in the big banks pockets (for whom it's all too convenient to let the small and nimble competitors get clobbered).

If the Fed doesn’t nip the bank run in the bud, regional banks will be decimated, and all that will be left is the biggest banks. You know, the “too big to fail”ones. This will not help the little guy.

Where is Powell? Where is Yellen? Stop this crisis NOW. Announce that all depositors will be safe. Place SVB with a Top 4 bank. Do this before Monday open or there will be contagion and the crisis will spread.

@asmartbear Indeed, commonly published as case studies detailing customer business values of utilized features. Highly effective sales/marketing tools when done right. It's rare to find companies who do that at statistically-significant scale.

@Cryptoneur Very true, it's probably aspirational for many, certainly near the beginning. That said, you can just ask customers. So that's not scientific, nor a "number," but it still helps you understand whether any of this is working or not.

Are you measuring customers "using" features? Great! Are you measuring whether those features actually worked -- delivered any value, had the intended effect, grew their business, saved them time? Isn't that more important than whether they "used" the feature?

@cobie @cburniske Unlike the previous iteration of the web, "dot-com" came before #web2 took over. One could argue we've pre-maturely locked on #web3 where in reality, we're still at the "dot-block" stage of market development.

@steviemctweets au contraire! Thriving in the age of constant change and relentless uncertainty requires mastering skills not taught in school or college (which often creates a false depiction of workplace/venture realities). That's true not only for founders but for most folks these days.

@ZssBecker Isn't that analogous to a gold rush where selling jeans (Levi's) ends up being the better play? ie figure out which infra the big games are built on. Wait, we know the answer to that already.

Your best chance for outlandish life changing gains the next 1-2 years is in crypto gaming. All we need is ONE break out game. Just one. The speculation on any decent game coin or gaming infrastructure right after will be ABSURD and rage for months.

@JustinFineberg You really don't need AI for that, let's face it, we have appropriate pre-GPT tech that could've been integrated to achieve the above. Sure, GPT makes this better suited for interaction with humans but bots that take action and service integrations already exist for a while.

AI's true power lies in its ability to take action. A chatbot that just generates text won't take away jobs. But one that can search LinkedIn, find prospects, send personalized emails, and generate the sales reports? That’s when the real job loss will start to happen.
