@bentrogena @bikinginla @gspeng @bellachu10 Bike lanes in the door zone are a bad idea. If there is not adequate space. Bike should take the full right hand lane (or the full lane).

@gspeng @bikinginla @bellachu10 A lot of bike lanes do very little to make me feel any safer when riding. Still keeping my distance from parked cars, looking at their side mirror as I pass to see if anyone is in the driver’s seat about to open the door.

@tomflood1 We need cycling infrastructure that supports cycling by people of all ages skill levels. Some people ride 5 mph and others ride 25 mph. Some are 5 years of age others are 25, 50 or 80. Our roads and trials need to accommodate all.

The city finally installed parking-protected bike lanes on Venice (National to La Cienega) and they are, uh, not great.

We cannot build our way out of traffic congestion. The only way is for people to ride bikes, walk, and use public transportation.
