Neil Young is also an awesome rhythm guitarist. There's a spaciousness to his playing, an elegantly delayed backbeat that makes Place. He sounds as if he's sketching the prairie or the scuzzy street where the melodic and lyrical action happens.

Well well, it looks as if voting NO in 2014 and handing over all of Scotlands powers including Trade, Energy, Industry and Commerce amongst many others, to the Government in a neighbouring country was a colossally stupid, cowardly act of self harm. Who knew eh?

Paul Anka did write the English lyrics to "My Way". The original French song was called Comme d'habitude, 1967, music by Jacques Revaux & lyrics by Claude François + Gilles Thibaut.
He heard the French version, bought the rights, + rewrote the lyrics for Sinatra.

Friday night tune- the Ruts, Staring at the Rude Boys, TOTP April 1980. Always amused me that Malcolm actually used to dress just like a Rude Boy- Red Fred Perry, Harrington and docs. Hard to believe that he was dead just 3 months after this appearance. Malcolm Owen RIP.
