Tatra PRAM/M. This is a first example of the newest Tatra FORCE of 3rd generation in service of the Czech Armed Forces. It utilizes new Tatra Defence armored cabin. PRAM/M 8x8 are for support of Titus 6x6 KOVVŠ (staff-command vehicles).

Každá houfnice má pro a proti. Mně osobně se na houfnicích Dita a Morana líbí, že oproti TMG houfnicím potřebuješ pro plnohodnotný provoz méně lidí - přesněji řečeno 2-3 vs. 5 u Caesaru (byť výrobce uvádí, že nouzově stačí 3). Další výhoda je, že posádka pracuje z bezpečí pancéřové kabiny a nemusí běhat kolem houfnice v nepříznivém počasí, kde jsou taky více zranitelní. Osobně bych byl pro Moranu, pokud by byla ready, čistě z důvodu podpory domácího výrobce, ale v současnosti je nejvhodnější pro potřeby AČR Caesar a zrušení tohoto kontraktu by mělo za důsledek zpoždění obměny výzbroje 13.dp a kluci by dál museli hoblovat staré Dany, které měly to nejlepší za sebou už před dlouhou dobou a v současnosti je v provozu drží jen zbožné přání.

@Danny_elMayor @praisethesteph RADA currently offers the RPS-620/aCHR, rather than the RPS-600 used on AFVs, for Iron Fist C-UAS. As with any design, there are trade-offs. The RPS-620 is optimized for low, slow, small UAS targets, at the expense of some performance against traditional high-speed threats.

@praisethesteph Both EO and active radar in case of D30. Acoustic sensor is fine for many applications, but its more of an situational awareness solution, than one providing exact target solution. Also in first line combat application, where it gets loud, acoustic detection will be limited.

@ronkainen7k15 @praisethesteph This argument would have worked if Iron Fist was not C-UAS capable, which is not the case anymore. So yes, CV90 and its EO and radar suite is C-UAS enabled. Not to speak about UTAAS that is able to engage aerial targets from start. Now this option was just taken step further

@Danny_elMayor @praisethesteph aCHR offers RPS-620 for CUAS, but its waveform, update rate, tracking priorities differ greatly. C-UAS is optimized for small and slow, while APS counters high-speed at very short range. Despite being software-defined, rapidly switching between roles in combat is impractical.
