Crimson Desert is growing. Weekend surge is still strong. Asmongold says if a game isn't good in the first 10 minutes, it's probably a bad game. But there are a few games that reveal their "goodness" later. And if you have the numbers, it's hard to argue.

@Grummz Asmon has had several bad takes with CD. I actually find it kind of disappointing that he is a prominent “gamer” voice sometimes. He was bashing on CD for simple user error and not taking the time to read things, playing as if he’s on a timer to ‘progress’ the storyline.

@Grummz He said that? Surprising as he is WOW player and it’s an MMO with similar aspects to Crimson. WOW took a LONG ASS time for it to be good for me. That game was boring Crimson was good in the 1st 10 minutes, I liked the intro and combat. Asmondgold needs to get good at games

Someone gave Crimson Desert a 0/10 on Metacritic because it has no LGBTQ+ representation. “It's disappointing in 2026. This isn't about politics It's about feeling invited to play and included in the world the game is trying to build. For a modern, large scale RPG like this, that absence feels outdated.”

@WillJPowers Can y'all fix the fishing on Xbox? Can't reel fish in after I hook them. Rotating joystick does nothing happens. It's very frustrating. Saw folks say to plug in my controller to fix it but it doesn't. Would be nice to get to my map and inventory without clicking multiple buttons

@CrimsonDesert_ PLEASE fix the fishing on Xbox. Can't reel in fish after I hook them. I saw y'alls Known Problems list and it suggested to turn off inverted Y axis. My joysticks are not inverted. I hope y'all fix this ASAP. Thanks. Love the game.

@PPRGamers @DMC_Ryan And there's a SHITLOAD of people playing on console. Probably the majority. They sold over 2 million copies of the game (as of a couple of days ago). So the Steam numbers are only a fraction of the player base.

@TH3MAF1A There will be plenty of bosses my recommendation is to give kike 5 tries before you start reviving yourself because by then you will know the boss better and you may not need to revive yourself at all

Can't believe that guy rage quit over this miner boss. Crimson Desert Boss: 3/76 2 skills made it easy. 1st your Force Palm, use it when he is about to drill 2nd perfect dodge - dodge and boom 4 attacks. If you miss a palm attack, run around to avoid drill. Rinse and repeat!
