In April 2023 at the @ngadc, #DeclareEmergency supporters Tim Martin and Joanna Smith took action to protect our planet. Unlike the #Degas #LittleDancer sculpture, humans don’t have plexiglass to protect us from the effects of climate change. Tim used black paint to represent #oil and Joanna used red to represent #blood. They were both arrested after speaking out and this action resulted in widespread press. What he wants more than anything is to have his message communicated. So we need help with media. Please reach into your hearts and find a willingness to sacrifice. Tim is making the biggest sacrifice of his life. We should to live up to that. 10/10

It’s official. Tim Martin has been remanded to jail pending his sentencing hearing on August 22. He’ll be held in DC Jail. The judge said Tim displayed “an array of methodologies” that demonstrate contempt of the rule of law. 1/10
