@GeorgiaDOL Your highest priority should be making sure claims are processed timely and accurately. YOUR problem with fraud is not our problem. Your leadership is incapable of doing just that.
Detecting and prosecuting UI fraud is a high priority for the GDOL. Claims are regularly audited to ensure benefits were properly paid according to state and federal laws. Please make sure you are answering all questions accurately to the best of your ability.
@GeorgiaDOL Why has the certification inquiry page been down and under maintenance since yesterday? What is going on???? Hopefully ya’ll are not deleting weeks of certifying.
System Maintenance - The GDOL will perform monthly scheduled system maintenance Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 7 AM - 11 AM. As a result, some online services may be unavailable during this time.
@anderson_jereem Thank you for reaching out. We want to assure you that your information has been noted and we will be working diligently to resolve your issue.
Reminder - The GDOL is no longer participating in the CARES Act and ARPA federal unemployment programs, including FPUC, PUA, PEUC, and MEUC. If you were receiving benefit payments through these programs, you will NOT receive a payment for week ending dates on/after 7/3/21.
@SabrinaHogan
Hi Sabrina, do you know how long it takes for IT to fix a claimant issue? I was put in the incorrect program & was told it was sent to IT to correct it.
@GeorgiaDOL Okay my backpay is finally showing up. I pray everyone waiting in limbo gets there's soon. I think since the federal programs are ending their making a mad dash to process everyone now that they've released their fabricated unemployment numbers 🤬
@DecorReels@GeorgiaDOL Pua I refiled 3/29 spoke with someone 6/1 they deleted my application because the rep. Didn't think people on pua had to reapply so reapplied again 6/1. I kept sending emails compulsively, reaching out to any/everyone I could to get info. dm'd Id.me a few times
As of June 27, 2021, GA will no longer participate in the following federal unemployment programs: FPUC, PUA, PEUC, and MEUC. Please see dol.georgia.gov/gdol-covid-19-… for more information. Register at employgeorgia.com for access to Georgia's latest job listings.
@bmgreenman@GeorgiaDOL I reapplied on 3/14 & spoke with someone a week ago stating that my claim was sent to an examiner in April...and that I just have to wait for someone to contact me. I’ve emailed just about everyone.
Attention: Be aware of fraudsters and scammers that are saying they can expedite your claim or guarantee you a call for a fee. We do NOT partner with third party vendors that charge for their services. Please report any accounts that are promoting these illegal services.
@GeorgiaDOL@melvpachec@BugottiChris When are you processing the outstanding claims. Mine is not pending. It’s just stagnant...without payment for 11 weeks now. Respond to that & respond to direct messages or not at all. Respectfully.
@melvpachec@BugottiChris Thank you for reaching out. We want to assure you that your information has been noted and we will be working diligently to resolve your issue.
Our system has indicated some claimants may have had their info used by other individuals and benefits temporarily stopped. This issue is being resolved. Payments will be released within the next 24-48 bus. hrs or require identity verification. Please monitor your MyUI and email.
@GeorgiaDOL Now they’ve basically put a block on the 404.232.3440 contact number. I was on hold for an hour and 30 mins only to get a recorded message & to be hung up on. Now I cannot even get through at all to that number. The GDOL is broken period.
@AngelaJ45547503@krizz108@GeorgiaDOL Wow...I called that number & the person that answered (after I was holding for over an hour), told me she couldn’t help me bc they only help fraud issues & gave me another # which doesn’t work.
