But Mayor Mamdani did say that today. Many might think he is simply being nice to Christians. But I know many kind Jews, and none of them say “Christ is risen,” because it contradicts the foundations of what they believe about Christ. Mamdani does not believe that Christ is risen. He cares about his Islam, and that is why he has been promoting it since taking office. He did not say this to be kind to Christians. This exposes his strategy: he is a liar, engaging in what is permitted in Islam, lying to serve its goals. Mamdani believes that Christ is risen as much as he believes he is working for the betterment of New York City.
