This is a dream come true moment for me. I finally built the GitHub overview screen in my React Native app, Shikai, something I’ve always wished existed in the official mobile app. A lottttttt of hard work went into this. Studying GitHub’s API docs, countless iterations, things breaking and getting fixed… over and over. But seeing it all come together made it worth it. For the longest time, I considered my blog site my best work. Now I’m starting to think Shikai might take that spot. I’ve built more complex projects before, but this one hits different. It’s personal. And I’m all in, giving it everything I’ve got. Big thanks to @surajtwt_ for the assignment that pushed me to finally build this. It genuinely reignited something in me.
