I have kids. I work in AI every day. And honestly? I have no idea what their careers will look like in 15 years. But I know what will carry them through. First, and this might sound unromantic: make money and save it for them. We can debate educational philosophy all day, but the world is changing so fast that financial security might be the most practical gift we can give. Buy some gold bars. Seriously. Second, nurture their imagination. AI rewards people with initiative and wild ideas. The kid who daydreams, who asks weird questions, who wants to try ten things at once? That kid will thrive. AI can execute. AI can be disciplined. What AI can't do is dream up something nobody's thought of before. Third, build resilience. There are no more iron rice bowls (guaranteed lifetime jobs). Any stable, predictable job is exactly the kind of job AI will learn to replace. Our kids will likely switch directions many times in their lives. Learn something new, get replaced, pivot, repeat. It's more like being a hunter than a farmer. Schools don't teach this. Schools teach you to follow a linear path: high school, college, grad school, stable job. That linear path is becoming the most dangerous one. Last, invest in their ability to connect with other humans. Not networking. Not schmoozing. Real emotional connection. Building trust, offering support, making people feel seen. As AI handles more of the rational, analytical work, the human ability to genuinely relate to other humans becomes more rare and more valuable. I don't have all the answers. But I know that imagination, resilience, and genuine human warmth aren't going out of style anytime soon. #AI #Parenting #Education #FutureOfWork

Today, I had the profound honor of meeting with His Holiness the Dalai Lama @DalaiLama, a global beacon of peace, compassion, and wisdom, and the spiritual leader of Tibet. I traveled all the way to the private monastery of His Holiness in Dharamshala, India, a hillside city in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh where the Tibetan government-in-exile also lives. In a world filled with division and chaos, sitting down with the Dalai Lama was truly inspiring. His calm presence, deep insights on inner peace, and unwavering commitment to non-violence left a lasting impact on me. It is truly incredible that at the fragile age of 90 years old, the Dalai Lama is still standing firm against threats to freedom and human dignity, values that resonate deeply in these turbulent times. Meeting someone who has dedicated his life to promoting harmony and service to others while facing lifelong immense challenges and threats from the Chinese Communist Party was a reminder that true strength comes from kindness, compassion, resilience, and moral clarity. Grateful for this rare, once in a lifetime and meaningful private encounter that I will cherish for the rest of my life. May the Dalai Lama’s message of compassion and service to others continue to guide us all. 🙏

Many people start learning AI by reading about it. But the real shift happens when you start building. Going from understanding AI to creating applications usually happens step by step: first understanding how generative AI works, then learning the programming behind it, then working with LLMs, and eventually building full AI systems. Here are a few courses that walk through that path: Generative AI for Everyone hubs.la/Q047g3-d0 AI Python for Beginners hubs.la/Q047g3_60 ChatGPT Prompt Engineering for Developers hubs.la/Q047g8_n0 LangChain for LLM Application Development hubs.la/Q047g40-0 Agentic AI hubs.la/Q047fR7g0 A practical path from learning AI to building with it. 2005- People laughed at buying domains online 2012- People laughed at renting strangers apartments 2017- People laughed at buying digital art 2026- People are renting mango trees on the internet Your dada owned a mango tree. You ate from it for free. Now a startup in Kochi is charging ₹10,300 to rent one. And people are paying. Pick a tree online. They manage the farm. 90 kg Alphonso mangoes delivered to your home. Sounds crazy. But think about what this really means. Farmland is becoming a product. Trees are becoming assets. Villages are becoming platforms. When institutional capital enters land tokenization, and it will, the kid in a UP village sitting on 2 acres of family land might be richer than the kid in a Bangalore 2BHK. India’s real wealth was always in its soil. We just forgot.

This is what happens to your body after 35 After the age of 35, the body begins to change in quiet ways that many people ignore. The same energy you had in your twenties slowly starts to decline, metabolism becomes slower, recovery takes longer, and small health issues that were once insignificant can gradually develop into serious conditions. This is the stage where many people still feel young, yet the body has already begun its transition into a different phase of life. One of the biggest mistakes people above 35 make is assuming that feeling fine means being healthy. Many diseases do not show symptoms early. High blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol problems, and heart-related issues often develop silently over years before they are discovered. That is why regular medical checkups become extremely important at this stage. Knowing your blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and general health status can prevent problems before they become life-threatening. Diet also becomes more important after 35. What you eat begins to have a stronger impact on your body than it did in your younger years. Excess sugar, processed foods, and constant late-night eating gradually weaken the body’s systems. A balanced diet with more vegetables, fruits, clean proteins, and enough water becomes essential if you want your body to remain strong for the decades ahead. Physical activity is another key factor. After 35, the body needs consistent movement to maintain strength and flexibility. This does not mean extreme exercise, but regular walking, light strength training, stretching, or any form of physical activity that keeps the body active. A sedentary lifestyle at this age can quickly accelerate health decline. Stress management is equally important. Many people in their mid-thirties are dealing with career pressure, family responsibilities, financial obligations, and societal expectations. Constant stress without proper rest can damage both physical and mental health. Learning to rest, sleep properly, and occasionally disconnect from pressure is not a luxury, it is a necessity. The truth is that the habits you build after 35 will largely determine the quality of your life at 50, 60, and beyond. Taking care of your health at this stage is not about fear, it is about preparation. Your body has carried you this far, and the decisions you make now will decide how well it carries you for the rest of your life.

Indian parents, this is important. Short video apps: Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style content are not “just harmless entertainment.” A 2024 EEG study @FrontNeurosci found that higher short-video addiction scores were linked to reduced theta activity in the prefrontal cortex (the brain area responsible for attention and self-control). Lower self-control. Weaker executive focus. Another study in @JAMAPediatrics (2023) linked excessive early screen exposure to delayed language and executive development. Children’s brains are highly plastic. Rapid, algorithm-driven dopamine bursts condition them to crave constant novelty. Over time, attention shortens. Irritability rises. Homework suffers. Social withdrawal increases. This is not about banning technology. It’s about boundaries. @WHO guidance is clear: • No screens under 2 years • Max 1 hour/day (2–5 years) • Structured limits for older children *Create screen-free zones (meals, bedrooms). *Use timers & parental controls. *Model what you preach- children copy us. *Replace scrolling with play, sports, reading, art. Watch for warning signs: Can’t stop? Angry without device? Falling grades? Seek early help. A balanced childhood builds resilient adults. Protect attention. Protect childhood. #ChildMentalHealth #ParentingIndia #DigitalWellbeing #ScreenTime

Sitting in India right now, watching the world burn in real time. US & Israel striking Iran. Iran retaliating across the Gulf. Russia-Ukraine still raging. Pakistan-Afghanistan tensions simmering. Missiles flying over Tehran, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Qatar. And here I am, safe at home on a Saturday evening, in a democratic, peaceful country, worrying about none of this at my doorstep. We don't say this enough - we are incredibly lucky. Not perfect, not without problems. But at peace. That's not a small thing in 2026.

What exactly has Axar Patel done wrong? It’s hard to understand what extra Washington Sundar is bringing to justify this replacement. And if Axar keeps getting left out, what was the logic behind naming him vice-captain in the first place? At this point, Axar offers more overall value with both bat and ball than what Washington seems to be providing.
