@DocJS @MattGelb Agree, though the previous reporting on his 1st episode where he was resuscitated w/ CPR/AED by Phillies medical indicated it was "too slow & irregular", implying some sort of slow idioventricular rhythm. His previous cardiac workup was apparently unremarkable- nothing structural

Robert is stable and alert, the Phillies said. He was taken to a local hospital, the Phillies said. His implantable cardioverter-defibrillator was triggered and doctors will review data.

Incredibly scary scene here at Phillies camp. Reliever Daniel Robert just went down during his first bullpen of the spring after grabbing his chest. He suffered a cardiovascular event last year. He’s sitting up and conscious but surrounded by medical personnel.

While you can pitch as a starter with two pitches as Spencer Strider proved when he came up, it's a whole lot easier if you've got 3 pitches you feel comfortable throwing in any count to any location.

@jase1129 @weaver_cards @BeaneaterB The only push back I'll give on AA with Profar is, and this may well be revisionist history, but I've heard the Padres had their own questions about how real his 2024 numbers were. And it should have been fair to wonder why was he having a career year at age 31.

@weaver_cards @BeaneaterB Outside of Profar and we all saw how that turned out. No fault of Alex’s on Profar but they didn’t want to go over the LT and then they were ravaged by injuries and it sunk their ship last year. I think they will be much better this year.

God willing, if the Braves can keep the players they currently have healthy, even though some believe they are short handed right now due to injuries, when those players hopefully return then you’re going to have a totally different problem. A GREAT problem! 1/2
