The idea that Max Verstappen wants to leave F1 because he doesn't have a car is absurd. What he’s really saying is that this season is not racing and more like a video game. The FIA's rules on batteries and other issues are damaging the sport and driving fans and drivers away. If this continues, you will end up with only casual Netflix fans who don’t understand the sport, watching cars go around slow through fast corners like it's Mario Kart. It’s time to recognize the real issues affecting F1.

@AntonioSabatoJr Noone is being forced to stay. Anyone can leave and others will fill in the gaps. It's Max who joined F1, not the other way. Everyone has to follow these regs. Simple.

Max had a very good car last season, especially 2nd half of the season. And Max's car is always ahead of the 2nd car in terms of development. THEY WERE NOT THE SAME.

According to The Race, Max Verstappen is under contract with Red Bull until the end of 2028 — but he has exit clauses that allow him to leave depending on the team’s competitiveness.
Last year, Verstappen could have exited if he was outside the top three in the drivers’ championship by the summer break.
For 2026, however, the clause is understood to be stricter. If Verstappen is not inside the top two by a specified point in the season, he is free to leave. This condition is likely tied to the 2026 regulations, giving him the option to pursue a more competitive seat for 2027.
Additionally, Verstappen is not required to inform Red Bull of his decision until October, giving him ample time to assess both the team’s progress and the impact of Formula 1’s new regulations.

@lanceforehand @ahpdeb Why was Yuki brought to Redbull?? What had they seen?? Because he was doing well where he was. You think he forgot how to drive once he got into the Redbull car?? And if it's not the car why is Max not leading the Championship? It's very clear F1 is all about the car.

@ahpdeb Why is the "natural talent" not on display now? Every driver will show natural talent with the fastest car. And every driver will go to midfield with a slow car. F1 is all about the car, and not the driver. Don't fool yourself.

The system is NOT NEW, it was used in the 1980 & 1985 elections in Zimbabwe. It was only changed in 1990. It’s also the system used in the majority of countries in the world including South Africa, Australia, Canada, India, the UK. Even the United States doesn’t have a Direct Election of the President, they use the electoral college system. The Presidential Candidates will be known from the beginning because they come from the political parties that Zimbabweans vote for… There is no disconnection between the MP & the President, their relationship is forged and cemented during the election campaigns & on the election day. There is a reason this system is used in the most established democracies: They realised it brings STABILITY & encourages unity. In future, we will see Coalition Governments in Zimbabwe… Political parties can form alliances to elect a president of their choice. This is now the Case in South Africa where the ANC & the DA teamed up to make Ramaphosa the President. Because of this, politics will be MUCH LESS toxic! The voter’s power to choose a President is FIRMLY protected because the voters choose the President’s Electors… if you want a ZANU PF President you vote for ZANU PF MPs.

A resident reported that the suspect came to their home on Pendennis Road (between ZUVA and Westcot) at around 11:16pm. He brought a ladder and looked over the gate, even facing one of the security cameras.
He left and then returned at about 1:07am with the same ladder and a large fuel container. He stayed on the property for about 45 minutes, during which he was smoking and eating a guava while cutting and damaging pipes to steal diesel.
He left at around 1:58am and walked up Pendennis Road towards Coull Drive.
If anyone recognises the suspect, please send a private message. The matter will be reported to the police, and his image will be shared to help identify him. Please share this message so the community can stay alert and help catch the suspect.
