Just because you’re talented, have work ethic and have a cultural impact doesn’t mean you should make millions. If nobody is willing to pay you what you want well you found your worth.

Imagine saying this with a straight face while the U.S. government has never turned a profit, yet we still pay Congress, bail out billionaires, and fund trillion-dollar wars. Profitability isn’t the only metric for value—especially in industries suffocated by gender bias. The WNBA’s lack of profit isn’t due to lack of talent, work ethic, or cultural impact—it’s a product of decades of patriarchal underinvestment in women’s sports. These athletes are simply demanding equity, not charity. If profit was the sole qualifier for fair pay, half of tech startups and public programs would owe everyone refunds.

Imagine being an employee at a company that has NEVER turned a profit and showing up to work in these shirts.

This did surprise me. I get the lack of Q1 games... but Sun Belt double-champion with a 48-11 record and a No. 8 RPI -- we debated Coastal at 8 or 9. Very surprised to see them down at 13.
