Still rooting for Team USA but damn… these games have been boring as hell to watch. Save me the “this is the American way to play the game” speech. As a former big leaguer you hear all the time at nauseam… we play a kid’s game. Well damn… act like it. Have some fun. Celebrate these moments. The DR, Venezuela, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico… those boys are playing with real juice and you can feel it through the TV. Right now Team USA look dry as hell. I’m talking like somebody just ate a whole pack of saltine crackers in the desert with no water in sight. Still rocking with the boys… but somebody please bring that Adam Jones 2017 energy. 🇺🇸⚾️

That’s the problem in today’s world we care to much what people think, instead of playing hard with passion and emotion! Who the fuck cares if you loose playing hard with passion?? But no, that’s the problem people rather fail playing it safe and looking good then embracing the moment and challenge and failing having fun leaving it all out there! You can't pull together arguably all of the best players from the world and say "just have fun" It would be seen as a monumental failure if the US team came out and treated this like a fun tournament, and then were eliminated. I'm sure they'd love to have some fun, but as they say..."duty calls."

Man, the WBC is next level. The energy from the DR and Venezuela is unreal 🇩🇴🇻🇪. Ronald Acuña Jr. might be my favorite player to watch...dude is a menace on the baseball field. Japan looks strong once again, Shohei Ohtani is unreal, and it’s fun seeing some young talent on the rise. But don’t get it twisted, I’m USA all the way 🇺🇸. Gold or nothing. And of course Puerto Rico, our cousins 😂
