@DwarfInAmerica @djneyoru Just you. Just your accomplishments. You're not speaking for the majority. Disabilities DO equal misery. I'm grateful to not have been so unfortunate & I wouldn't want any kid of mine to go through daily pain AND have a lifespan that's lower then average.

Couldn't agree more. The whole "compassion” argument is fucking bullshit. All I see is people talking like disabled children are better off dead before they ever get a chance to live. I have dwarfism. A rare form that could’ve been debilitating. I deal with daily pain most people would consider intense, but I've developed a high pain tolerance because of it and it's manageable to the point it's barely noticeable anymore. Even with this, I've still built a successful life. People like this don’t actually care about quality of life. They just see EVERY disability and assume our lives are worthless while claiming they're compassionate when they are in fact despicable. These two people are scum of the earth profiting off ending a child’s life under the excuse of “preventing suffering" May they live the rest of their pathetic lives in the misery they assumed their child would have.

Ignorant take. I have dwarfism and a rare form that could have been debilitating. I live with daily pain that Normal people would consider severe/intense, but because of this I built a high pain tolerance to where it's barely noticeable and still live a full life. (without consistent medication might I add) To most looking at my accomplishments, I'm successful, I have a career, I own my home, and I have little to no debt. My life isn’t some tragedy that needed to be “ended before it started.” The problem with comments like yours is that you assume disability automatically equals misery and it fucking It doesn’t. You’re not advocating for compassion because you clearly fucking lack it. You’re deciding that people like me shouldn’t exist because you can’t imagine our lives having any value.

@DwarfInAmerica @djneyoru Disabilites & Birth Defects are HUGE negatives. Theyre not supposed to happen, and those negatives greatly affect the kid's life(& the parents'). Would you really rather the misery not be ended BEFORE it starts?

@Ilerioluwakiye_ "Not because I don't value disabled people. Not because I lack compassion" You can stop right there because you have neither of those.

Unpopular opinion: If I knew my unborn child would have a severe disability that would require lifelong intensive care, I would seriously consider termination. Not because I don't value disabled people. Not because I lack compassion but because love alone doesn't provide specialized healthcare, financial resources, emotional resilience, or round-the-clock caregiving. Raising a child with profound disabilities can demand sacrifices that affect parents, siblings, and the child themselves. People should be allowed to have honest conversations about whether they are truly prepared for that responsibility without being shamed for it.

@XanderXCIV @djneyoru I'd prefer to live in a world where people see the potential of a child and not the negative. That's a you and them fucking problem.

@DwarfInAmerica @djneyoru Not as many as you think. It's a puny amount compared to the majority. Down Syndrome is a disability & its certainly not something parents would want to deal with.

@DwarfInAmerica @djneyoru No,it's fine for your to hold that opinion.Espacially since you have lived with having challenges i would assume since society is shitty towards people who stick out. Maybe not give people the option to know beforehand. Otherwise i do feel for the parents also. It's not easy news

@KimpaKim @djneyoru Look I might be an asshole about this. But there is nothing that completely Activates me and pisses me off more than seeing shit like this were parents easily discredit the life of a child over a stupid fucking diagnosis that everyone sees as a negative rather than the potential.

@DwarfInAmerica @djneyoru Also i never said you are not capable. If anything you are more capable since you had to adapt to a society that is build for ''regular'' people. Again i have nothing against you or people with disabilites. I guess i can just see the parents fears also.

like I said if you're not equipped to handle the most difficult scenario for a child, then you have no business being a parent. Your normal healthy child can be born and develop a rare disease. You cannot abort then, can you? Accidents and unfortunate things happen in life. Don't be a POS. We're far more capable of doing more than what we think we can do. They would have been fine. Instead, they are weak degenerates, that do not belong being parents. Because I the reality is, any "normal" child they have, will be fucked regardless.

@DwarfInAmerica @djneyoru I disagree. Its one thing to not know. But they know beforehand that the child will have downs that comes with alot of special needs. Most people with downs turn out to be amazing people. But it's a challenge for sure that not every parent feel they are equipped to deal with that

@DwarfInAmerica @djneyoru I have nothing against you. And i'm not saying people with conditions cannot succeed and be amazing people. My point is that parents should have the choice. Not every parent feel like they can handle a chiild with heavy special needs and that is fine.

Fyi I have a rare form of dwarfism that I in fact am supposed live with pain for the entirety of my life. In fact, due to this, I have an extremely high pain tolerance to the point where now it's barely noticeable. I have a successful career, I own my own home, I have little to no debt and a steady high income. You assume that every case is doomed to be a failure so why even allow them to live? Fuck you, that is all and I hope you live that miserable life you think those like myself are destined to.

@DwarfInAmerica @djneyoru Gay is not a genetic desease. Down syndrome is and will pass on if they choose to get kids in turn. It's like being born with no legs or arms. Can the child survive? Yes. Will the child live in terrible pain and have a shitty life? also yes. Why bring that into the world?

YouTuber Jesse Ridgway and his wife abort their child after finding out the baby had Down syndrome. Ridgway cited that they chose to kill the baby after deciding that he and his wife didn't want to be inconvenienced with a child with Down syndrome. "Things have been pretty dark for a while for us, and we felt this was gonna be a nice little ray of sunshine, and it's not." Horrific and selfish. An estimated 67% - 85% of pregnancies in the U.S. with a Down syndrome diagnosis are aborted. This is evil. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

YouTuber Jesse Ridgway and his wife decided to abort their fetus after discovering Down syndrome. Taking care of someone with down syndrome is a lifetime commitment. These parents would likely grow old, possibly into their 80s, having to take care of their child. They have every right to make this decision.
