The get-in price for Monday's National Championship Game is $123 after Illinois lost. Most of the fans in and around the city this weekend were from Illinois. It will dip below $100 if Michigan loses. The national championship game is always the most affordable big event ticket.

An interesting revelation from my interview with Meja Örtengren (currently T2) and Andrea Revuelta (T4) at Stanford a few weeks ago:
Both players agreed that they’d rather win the ANWA than *ever* win on the LPGA Tour. That’s how big this event is for them.
Revuelta: “Maybe not a major, but I’d rather win ANWA and never win on the LPGA. It’s just *the* tournament to win.”

Spent a little time in a time warp this AM inside the still beautifully intact former Izod Center. Same signs, same lockerrooms, the forgotten New Jersey Sports Hall of Fame plaques still on the concourse, same press room with plates of outlets long gone, same scoreboard. Too many wonderful surprises to list in the place where among other things, the last "arena" #FinalFour was held. It is like time stopped.
