Today the City will likely pass a budget that drastically underfunds transit which will lead to route cuts, lost jobs for bus drivers, and will leave many of our people stranded. Make no mistake, this is a policy choice that prioritizes a bloated police budget over our people.

It wasn’t until the 66th victim that the creepy predator got caught. So what that shows is less than a 2% chance you’ll get caught recording women & children inside the all gender restrooms at KCI. That is absolutely unacceptable! The recordings went on for over 3 months. Mr. Mayor - this isn’t just one incident. To my progressive friends out there - I do believe we should make space for folks who want individual or family style spaces to travel in comfort. AND yes, you’re correct that the creep who did it appears to be a straight male. That point is irrelevant. The point is our first priority should be protecting women & children which means making the majority of the stalls in KCI safe and clean for our ladies. This is common sense.
