An orphaned grizzly cub and an older polar bear have just become best friends at the Detroit Zoo 🐻✨
Grizzly cub Jebbie was found wandering alone in Alaska, unable to survive on his own. He was transported to the Detroit Zoo in July, where he met Laerke, a lonely polar bear cub who was also growing up without a mother bear.
The two quickly became close companions, and the zoo says they do everything together, including 'running, chasing each other, wrestling, rolling around, and lots of typical bear play. 💖💥

Even if your rental properties do outperform the market (unlikely), when you include the "return on hassle", it's not even close.
The cost of your time, dealing with tenants, etc., is far higher than a few percentage points a year.

Rideshare services are enshittified. I say support entrepreneurship.
Ride to airport: i paid the service $100.
Driver owns the car. He gets $36 for that 1 hour ride, pays his own gas, insurance, maintenance.
He probably netted $15.
To pick me up at 5am, to drive me to the airport, in the snow.
When he showed me that, i took his number and said “next ride, I’ll just pay you” he said “great. I’ll charge you $75 any time”
He’s already scheduled to pick me up on the way home.
1. He can pick me up at the place where your friends and family get you. No trudging to the “rideshare zone”
2. He can drop me off next time right at the terminal instead of the rideshare drop off.
3. He makes way more money, but i spend the same.
4. He gives MUCH more of a damn if I’m happy.
Normalize doing this.
