@nzemmili @newness2025 Storm drains? For transporting? Charle smh 🤦🏿♂️. It doesn’t work like that just cos water passes there so it’s for transportation, canals are built for transport and storm drains for flooding and managing liquid waste . Ayooo ah wells
English

@Qwobbyclinton @youselesss @Mr_Abu233 You said Accra to Kumasi lol but the topic is all 16 regions .. and I said MODERN RAILWAY! Na do you know $4bn? Let me sleep and wake up well well and then if you’re open to very productive discourse we have it
English

@Erlichem @youselesss @Mr_Abu233 As at 2025, Accra to Kumasi was around 3-4b. (Which is obviously, a political standard expenditure).
And that may be the second distanced , among the listed routes (regional capitals to Accra) in the original tweet. maybe you are an expert. How did you arrive at 70b
English

One day we’ll wake up to find out we don’t have trains just because some few people within the country decided to monopolize our public transport sector
SAMUEL WHYTE@samuelwhyteF
Imagine a 2–5 hour railway linking Accra to Kumasi, Ho, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Sunyani, and Tamale — fewer road crashes, less traffic, reduced truck pressure, stronger economic growth, and longer-lasting roads. Faster, safer travel for people and goods. Lower transport costs

Let the whole world know that , this guy has crossed a line , a line he’ll pay for so dearly ! If he doesn’t die a painful death never seen in this world , then life and death doesn’t lie in the power of my tongue ! We move

Ghana is a useless, shameless, disgraceful country. Sometimes I run short of negative adjectives to describe this country.
It is such a vulnerable, fragile, weak nation because its citizens and its politicians are shortsighted, immoral fools.
This is a project they have spent $450m on? Does this honestly look like a $450m dollars project to you?

English

@PricelesAgbo @youselesss @Mr_Abu233 lol easier said than done bro … best is to do a BOT with private entities like Qatar did
English

@Erlichem @youselesss @Mr_Abu233 We borrow money for far more useless things so we can borrow for something as important as this
English

@YhawOwiredu @youselesss @Mr_Abu233 You want to connect the whole country and I’m telling you what experts are saying it’ll cost , Algeria aren’t connecting the whole country , in fact their phase cost €745m which is a loan .. check the topography of Algeria to Ghana
English

@Erlichem @youselesss @Mr_Abu233 Are you trying to tell me Algeria and the likes carried 70b to fund theirs from the onset? Stop defending issues like these
English

@Qwobbyclinton @youselesss @Mr_Abu233 You want us to have a breakdown ? Since you claim it won’t cost $70bn , please tell us how much it will cost? Yes, it’s not compulsory to do all of them at a GO , so tell us which regions should be connected first and how much it’ll cost ?
English

@Erlichem @youselesss @Mr_Abu233 First of all, it will not cost 70b.
Second, it’s not force to do them all of them at a goal.

@TherealCash17 @CheEsquire $86.5bn that’s why it’ll cost to connect rail to every part of the country at the current market rate and it’ll take 9 years to fully do that across all 16 regions …
Question is where will the money come from ! What’s our GDP saf
English

@CheEsquire Can’t we ask for all because rail is so essential when you’re trying implement a 24 hour economy in Ghana, we been rail to connect every part of the country

Before the divorce case was a trial for domestic abuse… the court established there was enough evidence backing the accusation
This guy sent his wife and kids away from their matrimonial home…it took the court to order him to get them a new place, they had to stay in a 3 star hotel for 10 days.
Also it has been established through the proceedings that this same woman’s money was used to support his travel to the Uk. And her money was part of the set up of quick credit; which is the business that grew his success. He didn’t deny that in court.
So make you guys no feed into the calculated blogs putting her in a bad light

Well, it's great to see more people focusing on objectively important issues.
A short post on why it wouldn't really work in any practical sense. What they're calling the Odaw River (more accurately, the Odaw drainage channel) is fundamentally a combined stormwater and wastewater system built for flood control in a heavily urbanized area, not a navigable waterway.
Turning it into reliable boat transport as the post suggests would face massive engineering, environmental, health, and cost barriers that no current plans or feasibility studies even contemplate.
Thread on the core challenges of this proposal, backed by the facts on the ground.
