A flight turned tense after a disagreement between two passengers over an extra seat. According to the account shared online, a plus-size traveler had intentionally purchased two seats for the flight. She explained that she wanted enough space to sit comfortably and avoid making other passengers uncomfortable during the journey. But during boarding, the situation quickly changed. A mother traveling with a toddler approached the woman and asked if the child could use the empty seat next to her. The traveler declined, explaining that she had paid for the seat specifically for extra space. The conversation escalated. The mother reportedly complained to a flight attendant, arguing that the seat could be used by her child instead. The passenger then showed both of her boarding passes, proving she had purchased and reserved the extra seat. In the end, the airline allowed the woman to keep the seat she paid for. The toddler was expected to sit on the parent’s lap, which is a common arrangement permitted for very young children on flights. Despite the resolution, the woman later said she felt uncomfortable for the rest of the flight, claiming she received disapproving looks and passive-aggressive comments from other passengers. When the story spread online, it sparked debate. Some people argued that since she paid for the seat, she had every right to keep it. Others believed she should have given it up for the child. The moment turned into another viral discussion about airline etiquette, personal space, and whether paying for something automatically settles the debate.

At some point in my life I'm going to need to learn how to sleep like a normal person. Anyone have natural remedies that you believe actually work? Melatonin takes about 3 hours to kick in but now it supposedly gives you heart attacks, and if I die I can't drink beer.

I have results back on my daughter’s scan. Waiting for the doctor to read them. It looks mostly okay, from what I can interpret.

@Justpeachy10101 @Marathonman1120 Yes, I put it in there. There’s a few things that are mildly abnormal, most of which shouldn’t be an issue (slightly deviated septum, etc), and then there’s the craniocervical junction crowding, which may be the root of our problems.

@Sparkpoodle1 pasteurization kills the important flora for health. Cows raised and milked n crowded unhealthy conditions is when there is a risk for contamination. Raw milk is much healthier for a person.

I can not understand what the big deal is with pasteurization? It's literally just heating milk for a set time then rapidly cooling it No chemicals, no high tech equipment, it's just heated milk

@AKaPsych @HRH_SHP Hey! I was scared of the spinal tap too. I got one in Dec last year. It was not even close to painful. The worst part was thinking about it beforehand :-)

@HRH_SHP I just got 1today. Next is a spine mri & a spinal tap (this one scares me) for my migraines & episodes where I feel sedated & have to pass out, when people see me in this state they think I'm on drugs. I've been fighting Dr's for a yr now. Don't let up, or the Dr's will stop.

My daughter is getting an MRI done of her brain right now because of severe headaches. It’ll be fine, right? Of course it will.

@shesImaginary @HRH_SHP Hi there, same for me. Daily. take generic fioricet. Botox in the scalp and neck helped be cut the meds in half, but not stop all the headaches. Now Nurtec every other day has been helping some. I'm now 64

@HRH_SHP I had one done. Same issue. Never found an answer. I take an anti-seizure medication now, that does seem to help. At 17 they said it was hormones after all the testing. Im 32 now and endless daily migraines I still have never had a Dr give me an answer to them.

Remember when the elderly in nursing homes weren't allowed visitors during Covid, and family members had to "visit" them from the outside, looking at them through a window as if they were in the zoo? NO ONE WAS EVER ARRESTED FOR ALLOWING THIS. How many deaths were there? How much social security income was "saved" by wiping out thousands of the elderly?
