@FaultyMotivator @GucciSosa859 @ClownWorld Yes, and this screw is in front of the flap. It would have to be behind it to function in a way to stop you from ending the transaction, but if that were the case, you wouldn't be ABLE to hang it up. People don't seem to get this lol

@GucciSosa859 @ClownWorld The pump detects that you replaced the nozzle when the flap is pushed down. If you put the screw behind the flap to stop it from being pushed down, then the pump does not detect the nozzle is replaced. It thinks you're still pumping.

There’s been a lot of conspiracy theories lately claiming this little screw on gas pumps is some kind of scam to overcharge customers. This guy takes one apart and explains exactly what it’s for and what happens if it’s missing.

@FrancisXCarmody @SpeakerJohnson I mean, there's a hell of a lot of worse things we spend our money on. But that said, it's just my opinion on the matter. I appreciate your input~

@FennPol @SpeakerJohnson If my math is correct, we cannot afford to spend the $33 Billion difference on wire connectivity simply because it rains every now and then.

@JDVance They wouldn't have had one in the first place if Trump had kept to the JCPOA, you human slug. Now release the Epstein Files. Demand it. The Transparency Act was monumentally bipartisan. Do something resembling having a spine.

The President has been clear from day one: Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. Once again, President Trump's efforts to establish peace have paid off for the American people, despite countless attempts to thwart it by people who hate America and President Trump.

@FrancisXCarmody @SpeakerJohnson I think there's something to be said for Satellite vs Broadband in inclimate weather. Paying more for something that won't go down as easy could be said to be a better investment, but I admit I don't know much about starlink.

Excellent. And while you're at, please work on reducing some of the gross ineffiencies in perfectly legal government programs. Here is one (of many) examples: 12 programs have broadband deployment to rural areas as a primary purpose. Why? If broadband access is the objective, wouldn't it make more sense to fix responsibility with one program in one agency (currently, 3 agencies: USDA, FCC, and NTIA)? And the cost? $42 Billion. The cost of the hardware for a Starlink system varies, but the most expensive is around $300; so, let's use that number. $42,000,000,000 / $300 = 140,000,000 rural homes could have all the broadband they need. (Note: after the initial expense, customers would pay a monthly fee, just as I assume they would for commercial broadband.) And according to Grok, "Approximately 28–30 million rural housing units (homes) in the US as of recent data." So, after purchasing a Starlink system for the max price for those 30 million homes, $33,000,000,000 would be left over for administrative costs or returned to the taxpayers. What am I missing? #Starlink

@SpeakerJohnson So you fired 1000s of government employees, got rid of many government agencies, have found all this waste and abuse, but the deficit has increased by $2.5 trillion. The math ain’t mathing? Where is all this money going?

@JpJever @avers_jeff @SpeakerJohnson Let's not forget that Trump himself literally sued his own IRS and got taxpayer money from it. He's more than doubled his wealth while in office. Illegal Tariff taxes going to big businesses instead of the people who paid them (us). BBB overwhelmingly benefiting the rich.

@YouGotItToyota @ABC @marcorubio And if he couldn't do so, left the JCPOA in place and we could've done the renegotiations when it ran out. All he did was drive them to start enriching again thanks to putting sanctions on them again. The war was completely unnecesary.

@YouGotItToyota @ABC @marcorubio Yeah, and he should've done something, too. What I'm saying is Trump should NOT have dropped the JCPOA in the first place and tried to negotiate some additional terms or a secondary treaty. That's what ALLOWED them to start enriching.

President Barack Obama reacts to U.S. action in Iran as the two sides get closer to a peace deal: “It is doubtful that any agreement that arises is going to be significantly different or a significant improvement from the deal that we had in the first place.” Watch Robin Roberts’ interview with former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama Wednesday on Good Morning America. this-week.visitlink.me/CELFIl

@Mark_Moonfang @ClownWorld Also my station is low on the 'corporate does anything worthwhile' list because it's old. We do good business and keep the place clean, but we get low budget for upgrades and improvements unless abolustely needed. So I'll take what I can get for repairs that work.

@Mark_Moonfang @ClownWorld Well as he put it, it's about $200 to do a PROPER fix and the problem will pop up again eventually. So corporate and the guy in charge of the techs has them do this because it's cheaper and lasts way longer. Not saying I wouldn't prefer a proper fix, but if it works, it works.

@Mark_Moonfang @ClownWorld Our pump tech installed them over the last few years because the problem he describes happens. We were told to remove them about a month ago over the first hoax of this and the problem popped up again IMMEDIATELY until the pump tech came and reinstalled them (corporate made him).

@Mark_Moonfang @ClownWorld I dunno, maybe he just did this at a station he was working at to show this on a functioning pump. You'd have to ask him. That said, the info In the video is correct about the purpose of the screw. I've had them in my broken pumps for years, never had one not hang up.

@ClownWorld So why was it designed to need the screw to limit the travel of the metal plate in the first place? Why couldn't that be done, an adjustment, internally in the pump housing?

@FuneyGeorg68846 @ClownWorld Eh, it's $200 and the screw fixes it 100% of time for like 0.05% of that cost. My pump tech installed ours over the last 3-4 years as pumps failed in this way. I don't see an issue with it, honestly. I'm just glad they work.

@ClownWorld I understand that permanent temp fix. How about the camel jockeys repair the pumps the right way! Is that screw listed in the parts manual?,No? THEN IT DOESN’T BELONG THERE! If they don’t like the common issues of thise pumps find another brand! They make enough of our money!
