Recently, postdoc Lieve Filbrich from NOCIONS at UCL, Bruxelles visited . We studied how visual stimulation can facilitate the nociceptive withdrawal reflex. The findings will be presented at IASP conference later in 2022. #IASP2022

Students often address me as “Madam” rather than “Prof” (or even Dr). I have mixed feelings here. Does it happen often to male colleagues to be called Mister? Do I have to see it as a supposedly polite salutation? Or shall I simply get mad?
