The Service lost one of its own yesterday. It is with deep regret we announce that our colleague, friend, and Watch Manager, Jon Partridge, sadly passed away yesterday after a medical emergency. We are devastated and shocked at the tragic loss, and Jon will be greatly missed.

Awful news from my friends in Poznan in Poland. After the internal collapse of the tenement 11 firefighters were hospitalised and 2 unfortunately died I am thinking of you brothers! Look after each other ❤️❤️❤️

It’s with the deepest regret that we have heard of the death of Beccy Barr - mother, firefighter and invaluable member of the FRSAs executive committee. Few more interesting things around training in Belgium. Fresh, clean PPE provided everyday, as well as clean BA sets and masks sealed in plastic bags. Big racks blowing warm air to dry gloves. Firefighters issued with personal TICs. Prop to practice putting BA set on for new FFs.
