Attended a @scotfire_glasgo high-rise training scenario this evening at @fire_scot's Headquarters and Training Complex in Cambuslang. Impressive teamwork on show from the attending crews, with the exercise focused on maintaining operational readiness and standards.

If you stop the mass of hot gases from coming out of the fire compartment, you also reduce the amount of “replacement air” being drawn inward through the lower part of the opening. This minimizes the fire’s energy while crews enter for direct attack. Credit: Manuel Izquierdo
