I disagree. The Hero of Time gets a rap for suffering the most, but Wild is the Hero who actually suffered the most out of them all. He lost his will to talk, he lost to Ganon, he lost his entire family, he lost Epona, he lost his friends, he lost a whole freaking century and everything he knew and he almost lost Zelda and his own house completely. He almost lost all of his memories too of it wasn’t for Zelda. She was his one sense of normalcy left. The thought of losing her again had to have been traumatic. The very least they could have done was give him his arm back. If you think that’s lame then I can’t help you. 🤷‍♀️

@Fish2Write OOT is my favourite game of all time, but I’m not sure I can give Ganon full credit—Neclord from Suikoden did it three years earlier.

That is true which is why the mute Link argument drives me up a wall. I’m just talking about Wild Link in this case, Aonuma had said before that they gave him a reason why he was silent in BotW and when he wakes up he’s like a whole new person that’s why he has so many text responses lol.

@HeroOfTime00T @Fish2Write Yep! Developers have stated this as well. They want him to be silent, because it helps the player to feel "linked" to him. It doesn't mean he doesn't talk in the context of the world he lives in.

I think friend ghosting hurts more than dating ghosting. In dating, rejection is always a possibility, but from a friend? Oof.

Personally I do not like it at all. It retcons the main lore and it caused people to get wrong impressions about Zelda and Ganondorf. They tried to shoehorn Ganondorf mechanically into a game where he doesn’t exist and it didn’t work. I despise Demise. And then Zelda got worshipped while poor Link was ignored. It has great music though. Groose is hilarious. I get why people like it. I don’t knock them for it.

Lot of debate on how people feel about Skyward Sword lately I enjoyed it and seeing the relationship between Link and Zelda blossom How do you all feel? #Zelda

I wouldn’t mind if Ganondorf took all the limelight 😉 I think Koume and Kotake are going to stay as their older selves which I would be fine with. My nostalgia kind of misses them. Unless we get to see them more with Ganondorf as a child (EEEEEEE). That might make more sense if they look younger, but maybe they simply raised him when they were the prettier Twinrova form all along lolol. This remake is starting to mess with my head though. I keep imagining the young hot shot OoT Ganondorf in this epic 4k movie form now HALP meeee 🫠😂

@Fish2Write @MightyGazelle1 I only want them to have voiced moments with Ganondorf and maybe make the final battle with him a little longer, like an extra phase that isn’t the infamous tennis match to save Hyrule🤣 My drastic wish would be retconning Kotake and Koume’s ages so that they might be from AOI.

My hopes for the OoT remake: - Add something to Hyrule Fields. It needs a shop, some new NPCs, SOMETHING to feel less barren. - Add cut temples, reinvigorate old ones but maintain their spirit. - Let us thaw out Zoras domain 😭 - No censorship. Let the game be scary/dark. #Zelda
