Chicago… this just happened on our North Side, at Swedish Hospital. Two police officers shot… at a hospital. A place where people go for help, turned into a crime scene. And recently, a 23-year-old man was stabbed in the neck while walking near Grant Park in downtown Chicago. This is NOT normal. This is what happens when leadership fails, but tries to gaslight you with fake crime stats. People can’t even walk safely. Hospitals aren’t even safe. Chicago, we have a serious problem. As your future mayor, I will restore order, back our police, be tough on crime, and make Chicago safe again, just as I’ve always advocated for the safety of Chicago citizens. ICE waited until the family had left Texas, then defied the judge's order. If they can ignore a court order to go after this family, anyone could be next. ICE must release the Gamal family.
