🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham is set to scrap Shabana Mahmood's immigration reforms and will give millions of Boriswave migrants Indefinite Leave to Remain, allowing them to access welfare and public services.
Reports suggest Rachel Reeves is to be sacked as Chancellor, will you miss Reeves? What did you like best? The farm tax, winter fuel cut, income tax rises?
A Minister told me in the Lords that HS2 is now expected to cost £87.7 billion to £102.7 billion. The first trains will run Euston to Birmingham maybe May 2040 or December 2043.This project remains out of control, still running massively over budget and endlessly delayed.
@SandyofSuffolk@PatrickChristys@GBNEWS Where has this come from that all pensioners are filthy rich
Yes there are some well off pensioners but most struggle to make ends meet
Well done @PatrickChristys on @GBNEWS for putting the odious Benji Butterworth in his place for saying he hoped Burnham would take away pensioners' champagne lifestyles.
People on state pension only can barely afford Aldi's own brand lemonade. Actually!!
This is only the beginning.
The climate crisis is here.
So why are politicians and most of the media still acting as though this can wait?
It can't.
We can still avoid some of the worst impacts - but only if we find the courage to act.

Germany apparently wants to deport a bunch of Syrian “refugees” but Syria has decided “no backsies.”
What happens then?
If a country refuses to allow its own citizens to be returned, what does the host country do with them?
Yet again, we can barely hear the Prime Minister speaking on the steps of Downing Street because someone is blasting music in the background and nobody seems able or willing to stop it.
For me, it is symbolic of a country that has lost its sense of seriousness. We cannot even ensure that a national address from the heart of government can be heard properly. Small things matter because they reflect a wider culture.
I am tired of living in a country that increasingly seems incapable of doing basic things with competence and authority.
First Gay Dad’ Barrie Drewitt-Barlow Faces Child Sex Charges as 18 More Offences Are Added.
Quite honestly, this is deeply disturbing.
Barrie Drewitt-Barlow, once widely known as one of Britain’s “first gay dads,” and his husband Scott Hutchinson, are now facing a staggering number of serious allegations.
Drewitt-Barlow, 57, and Hutchinson, 32, had already indicated not guilty pleas to charges including rape, sexual assault and modern slavery trafficking for sexual exploitation.
But now, ahead of a further court appearance, Essex Police have revealed the couple have been charged with 18 additional offences.
Drewitt-Barlow alone faces 15 new charges, including two counts of sexual activity with a child and two counts of paying for the sexual services of a child.
The remaining charges include five counts of rape, four counts of sexual assault, causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent, and causing or inciting sexual activity.
Hutchinson faces three additional charges two counts of rape and one count of causing or inciting sexual activity.
They were not asked to enter pleas when they appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court.
Prosecutor Louise Oakley KC told the court they now face a trial scheduled for 18 January next year, expected to last eight to ten weeks.
If proven true, the scale and severity of these allegations are horrifying.
The priority now must be justice, accountability, and above all protecting vulnerable children.
Absolutely shocking.
Today is also the end of Lord Hermer. A horrible little man. Now he can get back to his day job - representing jihadis and people linked to the IRA, and hounding brave British military veterans.
@benonwine I thought it was disgusting that some loser played Ode to Joy loudly throughout his statement. This guy is our Prime Minister and he deserves respect
I didn't vote for him but he should be treated with decency
