@RedShirtComics @SaffronOlive There will still be sanctioned competitive play. There will still be high level events, though we dont have exact details. Just no more MPL contracts or guaranteed payouts.

@SaffronOlive I thought you said on the Goldfish pod that there is no more high level play and WOTC doesn’t care about/need high level play? 😉 Just always use a real d20 for the flavor if nothing else. Less than a buck for one at every LGS.

For casual play I couldn't care less if you roll a spindown as a d20. At the same time, there does need to be standards for what dice are acceptable for high level play and spindowns probably shouldn't be on the approved list.

@SaffronOlive Normally I like effects like this but this just feels way too narrow. It's suffering from White's "must include 3 restrictions to do anything" problem. 1. "1 or more" so fuck my effects like "Sram's Expertise" that summon multiple I guess. 2. Artifact creatures. 3. Once per turn.

@elektrotal McConnel is just slow rolling Trump. By not rushing trial, the new Senate gets to do the voting. McConnell gets what he wants (now that Trump is no longer useful to him.) and doesnt have to be at the center of it.

But even then, they (most folks) would vote conservatively on national elections. Local dems were good to go, but not nationally.

Doesn't it seem odd that in Ballard County Kentucky the State Board of Elections shows 2285 registered REPUBLICAN voters as of Oct 2020 yet 3155 people voted for Mitch McConnell? Ballard County also has 3966 registered Dems but Amy McGrath only got 936 votes? And theres more...

@Stevenwise58 @gigiandgogo1 @madmissmattie @GrassrootsSpeak Because if the Republicans are running uncontested within their party and have no need for a primary, they can register Dem and vote for the weaker candidate to ensure there's less opposition.
