Absolutely the right decision for both the club & Tavernier. Has been an excellent servant to Rangers & despite plenty difficult of moments, there were plenty of good moments.
Time will be kind to him.
Huge opportunity to leave on a high - something he thoroughly deserves.

James Tavernier 100% deserves a new deal. Am I saying he should start every game next season? No. But he’s still an asset and is the best right-back in the league.

He shouldn’t be offered one either, regardless how this season finishes it should be Tav’s last in a Rangers shirt for both his & the clubs sake.

Said it for a while but we need to offer teams that want/can fill it the European allocation @ Ibrox.
In return we get back previous allocations that we had at Tynecastle, Easter Road, Pitodrie etc.
Will make games have a better atmosphere & boost away ticket opportunities.

Emails have been sent to those who were successful in the ballot for Hearts away. Over 16,900 supporters registered for the club’s allocation of 576 tickets. Registration for 14 prior domestic away fixtures this season was required to be included in the ballot.

1. Yet to see any conclusive evidence the ball was out of play.
2. What goal scoring opportunity was denied? Bit rich when Aberdeen benefited TWICE in the Scottish cup for favourable DOGSO decisions.

I’m delighted we have found an ability to score plenty of goals but the quality of chances we offer the opposition is a huge concern.
We won’t get away with that first half in the games vs Hearts & Celtic.
Vital we get Rommens & Sterling back ready for the split.

Not ideal with important games coming up. Got to dig in & win on Sunday & use the 2 weeks to get the squad ready for the split games.
Moore in particular a real source of creativity & an important player - especially considering the quality drop in his replacements.

Another huge game on Sunday - every game is at this stage. Got to win & keep the momentum going into the split.
There are no easy games & with 4 of the last 6 away it’s vital we start this run in with a win! Got to be at it from the first whistle.

@TeamLH44_07 I don’t believe there is any corruption but I do believe there is incompetence & an unfair layout of the fixtures. The opportunity to hand select the running order of the fixtures & yet Celtic don’t play after Rangers once in the final 6 games is ridiculous.

@FullTimeGers That’s because the SPFL and the Scottish FA only want one team to win the title and it isn’t us or Hearts.
That’s been clear by the officials corruption all season long to keep them in with a shout

Was always going to be controversial for certain teams but one thing I notice is we don’t play before our title rivals in any of the gameweeks.
Also interesting that neither of the current top 2 have been given a home final day game.
Regardless, a huge 6 games coming up.

Just got to make sure it’s in our hands going into the final day. We have to win our games first before worrying about final day permutations.

@FullTimeGers Surprised celtic isn't play hearts'first game of the split. Rather than the last very strange,they would definitely throw the game to stop us winning it as they did v aberdeen for 2nd.

@LiamMcNaughton Yep I think that’s the issue for many. Winning titles isn’t easy (certainly not for us), & it will require a mental toughness & ability to get big results that have ultimately been the cause of our downfalls over the years.
We have to stand up to the challenge. 6 massive games.

@FullTimeGers Either way someone is fucked. Kind of get the argument but the order does make a difference. A sending off against Hearts = a suspension against Celtic. Celtic knowing the Hearts v Rangers result before playing us is a big advantage. Hearts could be out the race by Celtic Park

@LiamMcNaughton It was always going to be a tricky task to keep everyone happy. The fixtures have us playing only 1 of our last 4 games at home with trips to Tynecastle & Parkhead back to back.
We’ve got to play the games at some point so we just have to take it as it’s been given to us.

@FullTimeGers Hearts and Rangers both having 3 away games was always gonna be hard to give them a home game last. Would mean only 1 of the first 4 split games would be at home and someone somewhere would say that was rigged.

I assume the derbies will be played over GW34 & GW 35 (maybe even both on GW 34).
Be interesting to see whether they decide to set up a last day potential title decider.
Would be good to get a home game on the last day but unsure how they will work it.

Post split fixtures out today. I'm expecting to see Old Firm game played early after split And a huge match to end the campaign that may decide the title e.g. Celtic Vs Hearts Which would be absolutely must watch TV if Celtic are out of it but Hearts can still win title!

@joemandy81 Beaton was atrocious today. Still can believe he didn’t go back & book Fatah (No. 17) for United, absolutely disgraceful decision & sums up his refereeing style in our games.
He’s scared to give anything in our favour due to the noise around him being a Rangers fan.

Never a red & laughable to suggest otherwise. To be honest I’m not convinced it’s a yellow either. 2 players going up for the ball with the exact same body stance & arm position.
Both players have the exact same intentions & it’s just unfortunate Sevelj gets caught in the face.
