@EwenDCameron It's a handball because it's how they gained possession. If a rangers player had smacked it off him and then play went on, would have counted. It stopped a ball going 50+ yards down the pitch and instead ended in an attack and goal. Had to be disallowed.

@LetsTalkGers It was similar but also a few major differences. Shankland deliberately handled the ball to control it, he also scored. Barron accidentally handled it and didn’t touch the ball again before the ball went in the net.🤷🏼‍♂️

That goal ruled out for a Connor Barron handball in the build-up, but the one involving Lawrence Shankland at Ibrox earlier in the season was allowed to stand. Both very similar incidents, both leading to goals. As usual, no consistency with referees and VAR.
