@FunWithHorror IDK which was the first one I myself bought with my own money, but when my family got a DVD, we got The Matrix and the first Harry Potter movie which was a new release at the time

Do you remember the first DVD you bought? If so, what was it? 📀

@LewisCypher9 Love that movie. I remember catching a glimpse of it on TV at a sleepover. I was captivated and terrified.

@FunWithHorror I only watched the cut version on tv until I got the Arrow Video Blu-ray of Dressed to Kill.

Revisiting ‘Dressed to Kill.’ I first saw pieces of it on cable at an elementary school sleepover. The elevator scene has been branded on my brain since.

@FunWithHorror I bought my dvd player from an infomercial for $600 🤣 it came with a copy of The Mask, and a columbia house coupon for 5 additional dvds.

@FunWithHorror Fulci's ZOMBIE. I think it was something like $30, which was considered extremely pricey for a movie back in the 90's!

@FunWithHorror Yup. Bought this before most people even knew what a dvd was. Also bought it BEFORE having a player. Getting an extended version of my favorite all time move in high quality is one of my most cherished movie experiences
