I'll gladly admit that I was never an active rooting fan of Nebraska basketball. I don't remember the Collier years, or any of the previous trips to the tournament, prior 2023. Football has always had my heart, and it's been broken many times for many years. That said, watching this team play like they did, starting 20-0, and only losing to teams that made it to the Dance? I am a fan for life now. I love how Fred operates, and what he's done for this program is nothing short of incredible. Now, it's Matt Rhule’s turn.

Nebraska lost to only 5 teams this year on its way to a 28-7 final record. 4 of them made the Elite Eight. NEB led their Sweet 16 game for like 37 minutes also. They belonged there. Point is: all NEB fans have ever wanted was a relevant MBB team. It was. #GBR
