NOW: 600 Allina doctors, physicians’ assistants, and nurse practitioners who are members of Doctors Council - SEIU are on a 1-day ULP strike. The union hoped they could avoid a strike, but Allina continues to propose cuts and changes that would be bad for providers and patients.

Big pickup for the mayor. And it’s surprising to me that the 1st instinct of many who don’t support Frey is to assume that progressive people/orgs like SEIU, AFSCME, or Keith Ellison are either stupid or power hungry. Maybe they just disagree with how you define progressive?
