Juneteenth is a reminder that freedom is worth celebrating, and worth protecting. Today is about coming together in community, honoring the generations who never stopped believing in a better future, and celebrating the joy, resilience, and contributions of Black Minnesotans. Grateful to celebrate with friends, neighbors, and community today at Rondo and Southside. Happy Juneteenth!

When corporations find new ways to profit by exploiting Minnesotans, I fight back. Prediction markets aren’t innovation, they’re another way wealthy tech companies can profit from predatory gambling and even encourage betting on our democracy. Corporations don’t get to put profits ahead of Minnesotans. Not on my watch.

When Minnesotans need someone to stand up and fight, I'll be there.

And if they ever try it, just know they'll have to meet me in court. Every step of the way. Every single time. The Constitution is not optional, and no president gets to decide when it applies.

Today marks one year since Melissa and Mark Hortman were killed in a horrific act of political violence. Both of them, along with their dog Gilbert, lived lives defined by their service to others. We miss them every day. May we all work to honor their legacy.

A year later, I still find myself thinking about my friend Melissa Hortman. There's a photo of Melissa hanging in my office. Every day, I walk past it and am reminded of her friendship, her leadership, and the deep love she had for Minnesota and the people she served. I think about her laugh. I think about her determination. I think about the countless times she brought people together to solve a problem that others thought couldn't be solved. Melissa believed in people. She believed in public service. She believed that government should work for everyday folks and that we all have a responsibility to make our communities stronger. Today, we remember Melissa and Mark Hortman and continue to hold Senator John Hoffman, Yvette Hoffman, and Hope Hoffman in our hearts. At Melissa's memorial, I said that she would expect us to carry on bravely. I believe that as much today as I did then. The best tribute we can offer is to continue the work she devoted her life to: serving others, treating people with dignity, and building a Minnesota where everyone can thrive. I miss her every day.

The World Cup brings the world together. For a few weeks, people from every corner of the globe come together to celebrate the game, cheer for their teams, and share in something bigger than themselves. Moments like that are worth celebrating. Now, with all that said... let's go @USMNT!

When gun retailers ignore red flags on straw purchases, communities pay the price. That’s why we took Fleet Farm to court and forced them to do better. When corporations enable crime, they must be held accountable.

Some people think corporate accountability is about paperwork and penalties. I think it's about people. It's about the families harmed when a gun ends up in the wrong hands. It's about workers, consumers, and communities who pay the price when corporations cut corners. Last night, I saw Minnesotans ready to organize, ready to fight for our freedoms, and ready to keep moving our state forward. Thank you to everyone who joined our field launch. This campaign is powered by people, and we're just getting started.

Minnesotans know the difference between justice and political theater. A partisan report and a social media post from the Vice President don't change the facts. My job is the same as it's always been: enforce the law, protect the people of Minnesota, and pursue justice without fear or favor.

And when federal agents killed Renee Good and Alex Pretti, we didn't look away. We demanded answers. We demanded evidence. And we're still fighting to make sure the truth comes out and justice is served. The Trump administration may want those cases to disappear, but we won't let that happen.

When the Trump administration tried to take food assistance from families, we fought back and won. When they went after childcare funding that working parents depend on, we took them to court and won. Case after case, we've stood up to unconstitutional overreach and defended Minnesotans.

What this is really about is the Trump administration again abusing its power to punish its opponents while handing out money and pardons to its supporters. That’s not accountability. That’s the worst kind of politics.

VP Vance's “referral” is nothing but a political stunt. Since day one, my office has investigated, prosecuted, and won convictions against people who steal from Medicaid. We've followed the evidence, enforced the law, and held wrongdoers accountable—340 of them—without fear or favor.
