@beeeemooooo I can understand WHY people don't understand the appeal of CRTs but I urge you to look deeper before generalizing like this. It's not just about input lag (tho that's a big deal) - main thing is motion clarity (even a dogshit 80s K-Mart TV bests a modern TV in that area).

This is probably one of the things that simply made no sense because of how unwieldy and unreliable CRTs are. Unless you’re a fighting game pro i don’t think you should need to move back to CRTs. Although i can see this is becoming a status symbol because this signals that you can afford to waste space

It only took the US seventy-five years to get rid of something that the entire world had not done in 10,000 years.

My dear, there is no disrespect. The colors red, gold, green and black have long been associated with Juneteenth for decades- long before the federal holiday. They are the majority colors of the flags of most of the African nations (which is where the majority of slaves were taken from and sent to the US.) Maybe you didn’t know that or maybe you did.🤷🏼🙄
