Too many are too polite to say this. But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination. The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination. Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions. And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals. I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook. Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation. Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration. It was an act of domination and therefore division. It shouldn’t happen again.

Build Canada Homes just launched a major affordable housing partnership with New Brunswick.
Our governments are investing to speed up the construction of new affordable units across the province — including in rural and smaller communities.

A major new partnership will get 1,200 shovel-ready affordable homes built across New Brunswick, with the potential to add up to 300 more. Through Build Canada Homes, we’re working with the Province of New Brunswick to fast-track construction and unlock more deeply affordable housing, including transitional and supportive homes. With municipalities stepping up to remove barriers and speed up approvals, we’re getting homes built where they’re needed most and building Canada strong in communities across New Brunswick.

It's certainly possible the NDP may get more votes than before, despite their anti-Zionist streak. The Liberals haven't improved things. In many ways, they copy-pasted the Conservatives platform but only in words. It may also mean that those who went to Carney's Liberals will turn to Conservatives.

I’m going to disagree. As the economy tanks, we are going to see many progressives turn to all out communism. Avi is the populous leader that they will run to. They will want to turn away from the comfortable Boomers and their beloved Liberal Party. Avi will pivot to be the party of the unemployed and hopeless.
