Here are 10 NYC slang insults, drawn from the vibrant and diverse linguistic culture of New York City, with their meanings and context based on local usage: 1. **Bum** - A derogatory term for someone seen as lazy, worthless, or incompetent. Example: "That guy’s a straight bum, always begging for change."[](letslearnslang.com/new-york-insul…) 2. **Clachet** - A blend of "classy" and "ratchet," used to insult a woman who tries to appear sophisticated but comes off as trashy. Example: "She’s out here acting clachet with that fake designer bag."[](letslearnslang.com/new-york-insul…) 3. **Crusty** - Describes someone or something dirty, unkempt, or undesirable. Use them carefully, as context and tone matter, and some can be more offensive than others depending on the setting.[](letslearnslang.com/new-york-insul…)[](wikihow.com/Nyc-Slang)

Truly, a sublime work of wonder, such as makes the jaw drop, the eyes bulge, and elevates the visual arts to the level of the sciences in terms of utility to the human condition. Here is mortality in a nutshell, and all of your ceaseless searching for knowledge explained. For what are we, in our desperate attempt to know and understand ourselves and the world around us, but constantly seeking to “shuffle off the coils” of our own mortal ignorance? And all of our most debilitating and insidious vices? We all are caught in a trap, humanity as a whole is caught in a trap, but luckily we have a divine spark of knowledge and compassion inside us that, like the angel here, points out the way we all free ourselves, break the chains, and emerge from the darkness. The only thing I will say composition-wise is WOW! Look at that right triangle! And the intensity of the gaze between the two, the human and divine. This is the bridge. To see is to know and understand. The human soul. The soul of God. Obviously, the technical complexity of the net rivals any elaborate folds, diaphanous drapery, or fingers turned into leaves that previous Italian sculptors might have produced. This ranks with Bernini. Let’s face it! We all need art like this to remind us why we do it at all. Everyday. To free ourselves from ignorance and lack of awareness ❤️

RE: SMITH ON HOARDING COMMODITY MONEY --"A nation is not made wealthy by the childish accumulation of shiny metals, but it enriched by the economic prosperity of it's people."-- Adam Smith True but without context potentially misleading. It means that a scarcity of Commodity Money in the absence of fiat or credit money and the trust necessary for development and use of fiat or credit money, often leads civilizations to seek accumulation of commodity money rather than economic velocity that makes use of it to produce that velocity. Which, is, in the end, rather silly. ;)
