@yadananana I did a count - 50,500 on the hīkoi went past the end of lambton quay. Not including people at parliament, cenotaph, etc. Or those linking the streets.

Hello #twitterstorians. I have been manually adding together pounds and shillings to get cumulative totals, but is there a calculator tool for this somewhere? I don't need to convert the currency, just add together expenditures. Thanks!
