A quick update from Topo…
Still here. Still waiting. Still being the absolute good boy he’s worked so hard to become.
This lad has put the work in. His dog‑to‑dog skills have come on massively, and he’s now living comfortably in a little foster pack. A home with another dog? Absolutely fine for him now.
We’ve also been working on his acceptance of strangers, and he’s made huge progress. He’s trying, he’s learning, and he’s showing us every day just how much potential he has.
Topo is still waiting for his person… but he’s more ready than ever.

🐾 About Topo
Topo is a beautiful Podenco mix born in 2018. His start in life was horrific—abuse and starvation as a puppy in Gran Canaria before being fostered and eventually brought to the UK in 2020 (not by us).

• Social & Improved: Thrives in daycare and boarding; brilliant in a dog pack.
• Active & Healthy: 11–12kg, nimble, joyful, loves exploring at his own pace.

🏡 His Ideal Environment
Because sudden movements and loud noises overwhelm him, Topo needs:
• Quiet, rural location
• Adult‑only home (16+)
• Other dogs or confident, dog‑savvy cats
• No livestock
• Time, patience and predictable routines
Topo has worked incredibly hard to overcome his past. He just needs the right adopter with the right space to let his personality shine.
Out and about, he’s always on a lead and enjoys exploring at his own pace. He relaxes so much more when he has space and freedom to take himself away from anything that worries him.
