@stressed_ace @XBOX @Halo @XBOXGamePass double check the guidelines for how local couch co-op works. I could be wrong, but it's not allowing guest accounts. So if your kids don't have their own Microsoft account/Xbox gamertag, look into making one for them before Campaign Evolved releases. check their FAQ article post.

Halo: Campaign Evolved dropping day one on Game Pass is perfect for me and the kids. We can all jump in and play 4-player co-op together without having to spend a fortune. Still, I did preorder the Collector’s Edition for myself though… had to treat myself 😂

@MitchJonez I would either get my wife's vehicle fixed or purchase her a pre-owned that is more reliable. Next, after 25 years, I would see about getting myself a computer that I can edit on as well as game. Last computer I had was for college classes.

@MischiefsYT you think it's "ridiculously easy to implement". Do you have a background in: • coding development? • input/transform logging? • deterministic playback? • desync prevention? • data serialization/storage? • time scale scrub logic? • engine specific code patterns?

@NuveIous @Halofeed_ @Halo It was uncommon in 2001. IMO, they are sticking to the "basics" due to photo/theatre mode not being optional back then. I don't think they had the same team who developed those modes on this project either. it more than likely would have been released later if added. just saying

@Mailmain_ false. On the same console, you only need one subscription. Make sure the profile w/ the subscription is set to home Xbox. Couch co-op allows access to that accounts game pass a subscription.

So if I want to play Halo CE with my kids I need to pay for 3 Xbox Game Pass subscriptions? They would split-screen on Xbox and I'd be on PC... wow...

This is crazy bro.. Halo: Campaign Evolved Collectors Edition is a lost cause at this point. Unless they do a restock anyone who actually wants it is kinda hit.

@melloh_yelloh_ But due to the fact I'm unsure that Saber Interactive and Certain Affinity took part in Campaign Evolved 's development, those were the companies behind photo/theatre mode for previous games (2/2)

@melloh_yelloh_ if you ever watched the Red Vs Blue machinima (season 1), there were black bars on top & bottom to cover the health bar / plasma pistol. gamers had to get creative starting out seeing as software/programs nowadays can edit things out easier. (1/2)

Genuinely one of the few things that’s actually upset me about the remake so far, they should definitely reconsider this considering how beautiful the game looks and how screenshots/machinima have always been such a big part of the halo community

@TheGcustoms they don't "hate" theatre. I personally believe the game would have released later if they added that feature. but I just googled "what is the necessary coding needed to add theatre mode to a video game?" & I don't think they had a team on this concept for Campaign Evolved

No theatre mode or photo mode in Campaign Evolved is a huge misstep that I genuinely can't believe they're making given the game is Campaign only You can't use the Stanchion either?!?! Bruh we've been begging for that thing in a game since 2006 😭😭😭
