@GVOCollective @PopBlastNoah @TimGarrisonMN If the Celtics are the one that covet Rudy then I would think Connelly would ask for an asset in addition to white. I think it’s been assumed for a bit now Rudy would have decent trade value if Minnesota was open to moving him.

The appeal of White and to a lesser-rumored degree Suggs is not to get pure PG play, it’s to get Jaden off ball defensively where I think he’d be 1st team defense and actually have a defensive role that allows him to expend more energy offensively.

I’m partial to the ‘trade for a star’ route, but I’m sympathetic to anything that makes life easier for Ant.
I think if their goal for winning a game is that they have Ant and all the pieces enhance him that’s a fine strategy.

@TimGarrisonMN I think the Jazz will signal what they’re doing with the draft. If they take Boozer then Kessler is expendable clearly. If they take Peterson then maybe markkanen becomes available because they want to keep Kessler.

I’m going to toss this out there because it’s a name that’s been linked to Minnesota in the past and TC has a way of returning to guys he’s high on.
If the Jazz lose Kessler in a sign n trade, Rudy Gobert and Donte Divincenzo line up salary wise for a Lauri trade.
Not saying it’s what I’d do, but it’s worth tossing out the idea.

I get it cuz its Kyrie and the Ant thing and they need a second scorer. But if the plan is to resign Ayo and move on from Randle/Gobert and still compete, then by far the biggest focus needs to be on who starts next to Naz. They need a big, not a guard

@Courtsidespeaks I actually don’t think that offer is hard to beat whatsoever. It lacks good picks and there isn’t really one player than you truly feel good about being a cornerstone.
I think the only reason they’re such a serious contender for him because he wants to go there.

@DWolfsonKSTP Dallas wants to be competitive in the next 2-3 years. Our 2033 pick likely does not move them, nor does Julius. If you can find a 3rd team to take Julius & send Dallas somebody decent then maybe. I feel like Dallas will want Naz
